Friday the 13th. The perfect day to start a blog about good fortune.

I decided to start this blog because life's been a little rough lately, and it's getting a little too easy to feel sorry for myself. My mom is sick. I'm about to be unemployed. I'm the only one I know without an iPhone. When did life get so hard?

Of course, I should also mention I have an amazing husband, two beautiful sons, loving family and friends, and a steady supply of Freddy Mercury on my iPod. And just like that, I'm back from the dark side. 

This is my way of reminding myself how good I have it, or at the very least, how much worse someone else does.
